A company involved in planning and constructing technically complex buildings, owner-managed, with € 35 million in turnover

Measures:

  • Sales: analysed the European market for technically complex buildings, searched for partners in the identified markets and co-operated with partners in acquisitions and projects

  • Service provision: analysed the European environment regarding working methods and wage costs, and searched for partners in the identified countries and outsourced work packages

  • Prior to these measures, identified kindred spirits in the company and developed intercultural skills

Success:

  • As a result of these measures, sales increased by 20% and personnel costs fell by 10%.
  • The company has reduced its dependence on the German economy and, due to its international orientation, has also won new orders from national customers.
