Introduction of a digital training concept based on a central learning platform for self-determined achievement and control of learning objectives

A state-affiliated and subsidised company, with about 1,000 training participants per year
Measures:
Developed a concept for a learning platform’s planned scope of services (specification sheet)
Converted the existing IT department into an internal service provider and specialist consultant
Outsourced less valuable activities (copiers and desktop lifecycle management)
Determined further improvements in the entire training process through surveys
Prepared a communication plan for the introduction of the new platform
Provided support in selecting hardware and software for the digital platform
Success:
- Reduced costs in the training operations while increasing capacity
- Improved the client’s image by introducing the digital learning platform
- Change and higher qualification in the IT department is leading to increased employee satisfaction
